Call to Order: The meeting was called to order at 5:35 PM.

Members in Attendance: Mayor Taylor Morain, Mayor Pro Temp Aysha Jerald, Kaan Cubukcu, Spencer Williams, Ethan Shaw, Nida Merchant, Kayla Roberts, Roshni Patel.

• Roshni Patel motioned to approve the agenda, and Kaan Cubukcu seconded this motion.
• Council Reports
  • Nida Merchant attended the Planning Commission meeting on Monday night (December 19^th).
  • Kayla Roberts stated that Mrs. Emborski wants to collaborate with her for the Flower Power Project.
• Kaan Cubukcu and Spencer Williams will be sworn in on January 3^rd.
• 4 Gwinnett United in Drug Education (GUIDE) members attended our meeting and spoke about their organization. As members of their 15 member team, they promote alcohol education and movements against drug abuse throughout their schools and the local community. In January, they are planning to have a Snapchat filter throughout the most popular places in Gwinnett County. Bre Rogers, Leo Penn, Adriana Miller, and Ibaad Khan were the members in attendance.
• The Youth Council will host a bonding event at the skating rink for the Youth Ambassadors on January 9^th from 5-7 PM.

Meeting Adjournment: The meeting adjourned at 6:48 PM. Ethan Shaw motioned to end the meeting, and Aysha Jerald seconded this motion.
