Present were: Chairman Todd Herion, Vice Chairman Barry Pullen, Commission Members Rosemary Walsh, Julie Adams and Jeremy White. Also Present were: Planning Director Kaipo Awana, Planner Susan Puri, City Attorney Frank Hartley, and Planning Technician Kimberly B. Landers.

APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
Commission Member Rosemary Walsh made a motion to approve the agenda. Vice Chairman Barry Pullen made the second. Approved 5-0.

Approval of the October 17, 2016 minutes as written.

- PUBLIC HEARING – AX-16-005 City of Sugar Hill is requesting to annex 2.42 acres at 6162 Suwanee Dam Road to RS-100 for future greenspace.
Planner Susan Puri went over the staff recommendation for approval. The Public Hearing was opened and closed, there were no public comments. Commission Member Rosemary Walsh made a motion to approve this annexation request with RS-100 zoning as recommended by staff. Commission Member Julie Adams made the second. Approved 5-0.
- PUBLIC HEARING – RZ-16-006 City of Sugar Hill will consider amending the zoning and associated conditions placed on the properties in 2005 known as Bellagio Estates II located at Henry Bailey Road and Benefield Road – RS-100/PRD.
Chairman Todd Herion indicated that both RZ-16-006 & RZ-16-007 will have combined Public Hearings but the Commission will take action separately on both cases.
Planner Susan Puri went over the staff recommendation for approval on both cases and indicated the request was to remove both overlays that were placed on the properties back in 2005.
The Public Hearing was opened and closed; there were no public comments.
Commission Member Julie Adams made a motion to approve RZ-16-006 as recommended by staff. Commission Member Rosemary Walsh made the second. Approved 5-0.
- PUBLIC HEARING – RZ-16-007 City of Sugar Hill will consider amending the zoning and associated conditions placed on the properties in 2005 for Bellagio II project located at Cumming Highway and Henry Bailey Road zoned BG.
Commission Member Julie Adams made a motion to approve RZ-16-007 as recommended by staff with the proposed conditions. Vice Chairman Barry Pullen made the second. Approved 5-0.

Planning Director Kaipo Awana stated that the term for Vice Chairman Barry Pullen, Post 5 is expiring and, after speaking with him he is relinquishing his post. Director Awana thanked Vice Chairman Barry Pullen and indicated his service to the Commission was greatly appreciated.
