- PUBLIC HEARING Annexation AX-16-001, City of Sugar Hill is requesting to Annex and Rezone 3.03 acres at 6170 Suwanee Dam Road to RS-100 for future use as greenspace.
Planning Director Kaipo Awana went over the staff recommendation for approval. The Public Hearing was opened and closed, there were no public comments. Commission Member Rosemary Walsh made a motion to recommend approval of the annexation and rezoning to Medium Density Single Family Residential (RS-100) District as recommended by staff. Commission Member Jeremy White seconded the motion. Approved 4-0.
- PUBLIC HEARING Annexation AX-16-002, City of Sugar Hill is requesting to Annex and Rezone 9.22 acres at 440 Level Creek Road to RS-100 for future use as greenspace.
Planning Director Kaipo Awana went over the staff recommendation for approval. The Public Hearing was opened. Citizens and Guest who spoke were Jennifer Eaton, Donald Lee, and India McLeod. Comments included concerns with future use if zoned to RS-100 and the city decides not to utilize as greenspace, in addition to a request to provide additional buffers if ever were to be developed. There were no other public comments and the Public Hearing was closed. Commission Member Jeremy White made a motion to recommend approval of the annexation and rezoning to Medium Density Single Family Residential (RS-100) District as recommended by staff. Commission Member Julie White seconded the motion. Approved 4-0.
