IFB # 21-005- Gold Mine Park Construction

The City of Sugar Hill will accept sealed bids pursuant to the provisions of O.C.G.A. 36-91-21 from qualified General Contractors for furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete the construction of GOLDMINE PARK, CONTRACT #21-005, located at 440 Level Creek Road in Sugar Hill.
The work includes layout and construction of a 9-acre passive park with parking lot, drainage improvements, curb and gutter, signage, pavement, a restroom and other relevant enhancements. All work must be completed within One Hundred Twenty (120) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written “Notice to Proceed” from OWNER.
Bidding documents may be viewed at the office of the Assistant City Manager, 5039 W. Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia 30518 (phone: 770-945-6716). Bid packages may be purchased and are $50 and are delivered electronically in .pdf format. Payment must be received prior to delivery. Questions of a technical nature should be submitted in writing to Troy Besseche, P.E., Assistant City Manager at 5039 W. Broad Street, Sugar Hill, GA 30518 or via email: tbesseche@cityofsugarhill.com.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Sugar Hill City Hall (5039 W. Broad St., Sugar Hill, GA 30518) in the History Museum Room.
Bids will be received at the City of Sugar Hill at City Hall, 5039 W. Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia 30518 (phone: 770-945-6716) until 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 22, 2021, at which time the bids will be opened and read aloud. Each bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to OWNER. BIDDER shall provide one (1) original and two (2) copies of their bid package. Each sealed envelope containing a Bid must be plainly marked on the outside as “Bid for IFB 21-005 Goldmine Park Construction” Bids must be hand delivered or expressed delivered to City of Sugar Hill, 5039 West Broad Street, Sugar Hill, Georgia 30518. Any and all Bids received without the aforementioned criteria enclosed, will be returned to BIDDER. All Bids must be made out on the bid form of the type bound in the Contract Documents, in accordance with the instructions in the INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS Section 00 10 00. No interlineations, additions, or deletions shall be made in the proposal form by BIDDER. No conditional Bids will be acceptable.
No bid may be modified, withdrawn, or canceled for a period of 60 days after time designated for receipt of Bids or until notified by Owner, whichever is sooner. The City has determined and reserved adequate funding for this project. The City also reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive irregularities, technicalities, and informalities.
