ATTENTION: Service Available To Sugar Hill Residents ONLY.
Sugar Hill residents now have one option for the waste collection provided by Waste Management:
In addition, beginning November 1st, 95-gallon cart service will be provided for recyclables in place of the smaller 18-gallon bins. With this increased recycling capacity, service will be every other week instead of every week. Customers that have the 18-gallon bins will receive a 95-gallon cart during the transition in November. If you already have a recycling cart, the only change you will experience is the service moving from weekly to every other week. You will also receive a calendar for your recycling service.
There will be no pickup on the following holidays:
Routes will be pushed back by one day following a holiday. For example, if Christmas Day is Tuesday and your normal service day is Wednesday, you will be serviced on Thursday. Customers who are normally serviced on Friday of that week will be serviced on Saturday.
Please note: Trucks may arrive earlier during holidays so place your trash out the night before.

We are no longer able to accept glass in the curbside recycling program due to changes in market demand for cullet and cost associated with processing. We appreciate the community’s understanding of this industry-wide change and urge continued participation in minimizing the waste stream to the greatest extent practical.
Residents can now drop off their clean, empty glass containers at E.E. Robinson Park, 885 Level Creek Road Sugar Hill, GA (baseball/softball complex entrance) from sunrise to 11 p.m. unless posted otherwise. Visit GCSolidWaste.com for more information about glass recycling.
Please be aware, if any glass is found in your recycling container, Waste Management will not pick-up any recycling items within the container.
Help the Environment by Recycling Recycling is a series of activities that includes collecting recyclable materials that would otherwise be considered waste, sorting and processing recyclables into raw materials such as fibers, and manufacturing raw materials into new products. Recycling can be a fun family activity. It not only conserves our landfill space but it also teaches our children to respect and preserve their environment.
Effective November 1, 2022 (bins will be replaced with carts) curbside recycling services will be every other week.
